I want to walk with you how to install the Tekonsha upgraded circuit protected ModuLite with 4-pole trailer connector. Adding the 4-pole connector is going to allow you to pull trailers or get light functions to anything you may be hauling to make sure that you're legal and safe. This is going to be a circuit protected wiring kit. What that means is going to have a converter box and it's going to protect the factory wiring on your vehicle or on your trailer from any backfeed from either one.It's also going to be upgraded ModuLite. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Ford Crown Victoria- Video
Today for 2006 Ford Crown Victoria, we're going to install part number 119179kit. First thing we need to do, is to get access to the wire harness so we can install our new parts. We'll go ahead and open up the trunk. To remove the threshold there are just four push pin fasteners. So we'll go ahead and remove those and set the threshold out of the way. We'll peel back the carpet liner to get access to our wires. Now on this particular vehicle we can get access to our wires all on the driver's side. more
